Operator is an open and flexible system, thus it works very well with SAP. We enter production orders, sales orders etc. in SAP, which are then transferred to Operator.

It gave us great advantages to be able to see directly where in production processes there was room for improvements. Operator gave us the advantage that it could do much more than mere monitoring.
Our production people get all the information they need in their daily routines from their Operator monitor by their work station. Yet, we still find new things we can use the system for.

If we hadn’t implemented Operator and performed well, we probably wouldn’t have survived when the prices of raw materials surged in 2008. We needed to be able to react quickly to changes in orders or delivery. Now, we can react immediately and work around bottlenecks, as well as doing wholesale changes to schedules without interrupting production. Operator is invaluable for collecting, using and visualize the information in our production. The system covers the whole process from warehouse to production to sale. On top of that, we can spot and analyze flaws in both production and product, making maintenance and quality control much more efficient.

Now we have more accurate and secure data, reducing the risk of errors. This means we are able to give each farmer delivering peas to us a correct price based on the correct weight and quality. Instead of checking every pallet, we can use labels and traceability to find the pallets that need to be withdrawn. This has saved us a lot of money and costly time.
